This is so real. A manhwa i read has like 8.6 rating and i rlly love the plot its based on romeo and juliet but a completely different concept and has no romance. Im literally forever mourning how its rated so low cuz of that, i never trusted mgg ratings (￣∇￣")

tbh this has been the case for a long while now lol, i would argue the opposite is true as well, where a manga/manhwa that’s just meh has a really high rating. Eventually I just decide to read if I like the art and the premise is interesting, then give it a few chapters to decide if its worth continuing

FUCK I know exactly what you're talking about, it's literally SO GOOD, but I think what's happened is that it's accidentally attracted the wrong audience due to the art style and premise.

Romance fans see a cute art style and the fact that it's Romeo and Juliet, and click to read expecting such, where as mystery/action fans skip over it because they don't want romance. Despite the work literally being geared more towards a mystery/thriller.

The character designs def have flaws and the start is REALLY confusing and off-putting, but once you power through to when the deuteragonist meets Romeo, it will be a GOOD read. Made me sob in class.
