It’s one thing to say he’s frail due to his lifestyle and just getting out of the hospital, but holy shit he’s small. To the point it feels gross? He’s all skin and bones, the other MC is literally three times his size. I bet money that when they have a sex scene, his dick is gonna be as big as the bottoms fucking leg. EEUGH
I read Kengan Asura roughly 4 years ago and it was so breathtakingly good, I finished it in one night. The beginning of Koga’s story was interesting, and including the strange clones being made underground had me on the edge of my seat. But now it’s BORING, Koga as a character doesn’t have the charm Ohma did (understandably as they’re two different people) and not nearly enough high stakes situations. Everyone in the previous story had a reputation, family, life, or income they’d lose and it kept building progressively through the story. All of this in LESS CHAPTERS THAN THIS STORY. I like Koga, but not as a main character anymore, the other fighters are beginning to outshine him.
I 100% agree but I do have hope that we are being led into a false sense of security and after this arc stakes are wildly going to increase and get crazy. My hope is the bad Niko and whatever the third clones name is are about to really upend things. He seems to have a much bigger plan than JUST getting the connectors memories. My biggest hope is the Connector is meant to seal or stand guard against something evil and even more powerful and the 3rd clones name is wakes this sucker up and connector is killed
Of course if he ends up being a let down I might have to drop it after this arc. I think one of the things that’s really dropped the stakes is taking the death matches off the table. I mean if you get rid of the death matches what’s even really the point of it being underground? It’s basically a slightly less restrictive MMA
I’m still confused on how we got here… the last three chapters have me lost, is anyone getting this?
So basically, Jeon’s backstory as a sacrifice, growing up basically having to lie to himself to be ok with it. Also, back in the present his family has told him to report on Mugo and such and he is feeling stressed by that. Then when he speaks to Sir Mugo, tells him his feelings and says something like “you’ll kill me right?” So sir mugo says “stop
Child” and this hurts Jeon ans he runs away.
Crazy mugo takes over the body in the most recent ch and asks gummies to find jeon and he sees some strange images, probably a flashback.
Also, I have a theory, I think the ghosts or whatever that are doing the grape are the ghosts of previous sacrifices or like shape shifting yokai.
Finally, jeon seemingly gives up and gives in, happy to accept the lie that someone loves him, similar fo how he has lied to himself his whole life. Hope this helps.

Oooo so they know each other from past lives, and he’s the only one who remembers. The rock must have a deeper meaning than the superficial one we’ve been given. Hm…
Neither remember. Briefly while trying to research into the rock yeon had a flashback to baby him tying the red thread to kihoon whilst kihoon was sleeping. Kihoon is a guy who is always optimistic but beset by strange ill fortune.
Theory (you can skip reading this, though this is built on flashbacks we see glimpses of in season 1): past life yeon as a baby loved past life kihoon so much already he severed his existing red string (one attached to who we now know was the girl he saved from being harassed in the present day (they have a faint/tenuous string binding them but none of the characters even acknowledged it existence)). In season 1 there’s enough evidence to extrapolate that people with ‘a soul like the sun’ like kihoon aren’t born with a red string (confirmed in season 2 episode 1) and in tying his string to kihoon, yeon ended up ‘dooming’ kihoon, causing misfortunes even in his previous life (although they are romantically involved even in the past life, kihoon ends up dying in iirc yeon’s arms). The red string remains bc their souls are the same but kihoon is still beset by misfortunes in the present life bc he’s not meant to have a red string.
tl;dr they don’t remember their past lives but their past lives who were also in love do have a bearing on the present life bc yeon tied his string in childhood to kihoon who wasn’t meant to have a string, causing misfortunes in both past and present lives.
