Violet Scans did a better job on 178, they actually said "beat up your little sister" instead of the not so "better version" who said "beat up your brother". Amazing I know, but true. Better is not always better.

The reason why it's considered "better" is because of the bot auto updates that pick the worst visual quality, translation quality and chopped up chapters.
Yes, Violet Scans did translate that line better, but in the past, bots have been auto updating the worst possible translations for this series for over 6yrs, to the point that they feel like phantom updates. So I don't even bother looking at the bot updates.
I also read on another site where different translations are actually separated from eachother. There is a comic on that site which is being translated by 2 different teams and one uses harsher language, which doesn't fit the situations at all and sounds very off. It felt so off that I decided to take a peak at the other translation. The other translation made so much more sense with context and word use. It made the character speaking look like someone who was actually in love but also hurt. Not some "nice guy/asshole" who was rejected by a pretty girl.
The comic was "Flowers are Bait" I believe.

If I was there in the snow and had the same powers as Shiori, wouldn't it make sense to use a door or two to make a snow sled? And with earth magic, she could continuously lift up the back edge to slide it forward, so no need for anyone to carry the ill.
PUT THOSE ONIONS AWAY!

My take is:
- a sled will only make sense if the path is generally smooth, which may not have been the case. The path might've been too uneven w/lotsa underlying roots below w/c would make moving a sled hard -> potentially slowing them down; also, it can make it difficult to avoid sudden attacks *like what if the ground was hit or something popped up from below
- she has to conserve as much magic power as she can because they don't know what monsters they might encounter (case in point, the yeti). Unfortunately, her reserves are so low she probs didn't want to risk running out by continually using magic like that (albeit the amnt will be small. But doing it frequently & plenty enough will make her power run out eventually or too fast if they encounter problems)
If the lord they are visiting used to be a dragon knight, where is his dragon and why didn't his wife get introduced, I thought the dragon had to approve before they got married?
My best guess is that he was a dragon knight but there was no dragon that acknowledged him or his dragon died protecting him
