can someone explain to me why ohara had told shuri that jeremy didn't want her at his wedding in the first timeline? i know she didn't expect her death, but why did she say not to come to the wedding?
Bcs she believed in the rumor that jeremy had other feelings for shuri. She's more convinced and irrationally believed that because of the trauma caused by her father's infidelity. She knew shuri would leave anyway after the wedding, but she's afraid that on such an important day jeremy would turn soft and tell her to stay which would threaten her position as the new marchioness, this wouldn't only temind her of her mother's suffering but also mean she couldn't live up to the expectations she endured from her father to be able to have the Neuschwanstein family under her control as the madam.
