Honestly, I don't know what to say. I also have friendship that I keep because the person would have no friends without me. And while it's dishonest of me (I feel like these are pity friendships), I think it would be much worse for them to be alone, so I just try to be a bit more farther away, but I'm still their friend. Therapy helps a lot. My sister got out of a 10 years depression with therapy. People against therapy usually say "you could just talk to your friends" but that's not true, therapists have tools that can help you process and heal. Of course, it's possible to not go to therapy and manage, but that's what my dad did with his trauma, and it's impacting......   reply
