
this is some gorgeously done backstory. most graphic novels with shitty characters like Seo-In mostly have the most shallow and/or overdone backstory justifications, but this one... perfect. GORGEOUSLY DONE. the author really REALLY did a good job in emohasizing the roots of his behaviors and overall vaguely shown obsession for Yeongwoon in the present (and no, most of the said actions are still not correct)—it's so well-done. not only from the very complex family dynamics, but ESPECIALLY the way the author emphasized his pure, intense pining, devotion, codependence, obsession, and love for Yeongwoon. HE ADORED, TREASURED, AND LOVED THE FUCK OUT OF HIM EVER SINCE, ALL THOSE YEARS. the codependence was so beautiful in a sense.
just. aghh the emphasis on his devotion and pining for Yeongwoon ever since. PERFECT.
oh so rooting for them.
