I understand she was also a victim of an abuse relationship however she straight up told heesung “and all this time, you could’ve tried to look for me but you didn’t. So how could I possibly have done that…when I knew you didn’t want me to”. She was literally pushing the blame onto heesung, believed the lies her ex was telling her, and not once reached out to her child.
Most mothers would put their child’s well being as a first priority and would have tried to reach out or remove the child from the situation. But this wasn’t the case with heesungs mother.

I 100% believe that the grandma deserves to get cussed out, dojin knew how heesung felt and still decided to fund her life and keep contact. Dojin deserves to be cussed out too.

yeah, I actually reread love is an illusion recently and I understand your point of view. however, I didn't understand this scene as her blaming hyesung, but rather about how her father lied to both her and hyesung. He himself said that her son didn't want to see her and that was it. I'm not defending her, but I think in the end the biggest culprit for this is the asshole father.
