I never read nor heard of this manhwa, so i'm going into this totally blind. I wanna try reading this because of the rating, but i'm at ch. 26 and i'm already having a nitpick about it as i go. First and foremost, is the uke(Dojun) always going to be like this throughout this manhwa? Because the main nitpick i have right now while reading this is the uke's bratty attitude and how many times the seme pampers him despite how he gets brushed the fuck off, it's frustrating. I want my balance in a relationship where either both get equal shit or equal love, so if the uke doesn't get at least a bit of shit the entire story, then i'm out. I really want to give this manhwa a chance, so for the ones who finished this, does the story (their relationship) get better from here? If so what around what chapter does it start? I am genuinely asking here. Actually, tell me the story's order sequence instead, i honestly don't mind spoilers right now.
I need this kid to grow up soon istg. 100+ chapters and ongoing, and this boy only grew an inch. I swear if this manga ends with us only getting a glimpse of him all grown up i'm gonna-- that'd be so tragic. Also i'm really liking the secondary pair (i pressume?)'s dynamic. Honestly a bit more than our main pair, if the story is really going for that route. But overall, I hope we get to see these kids all grown up, eventually.
Here is the link to the author’s twitter account promoting it https://x.com/okmgmk/status/1784142065015963803?s=46
hate to disappoint but they’re completely different characters in another dj you can translate and read the synopsis here https://www.chil-chil.net/goodsDetail/goods_id/146049/
I actually love this manga because i'm always a slut for childhood/old buddies turn to lovers troupe, escpecially when top is oblivous but possessive, and bottom is a wimping cutie in love..a match made in heaven <3 Though I do agree with the latest comment, this kind of relationship will not last long realistically But good thing it's fiction right? they can love-bang till their 90's if the author desires lol
I hate how the author go with thiss..They literally wrote a pity-party for this uke like we're finna get soft with him. Like huh?? no. Uke was so frustrating, I had to keep stopping myself from smacking him, figuratively.. And after getting worded by the seme for like, only 2 freaking times this entire story, the author seem to go like, Ok that's good enough, time to end it. Like, Idk girl, it feels bleh to me. Don't get me wrong, the story is cute and light. The selfishness, almost like a victim mentality(¿) of the uke was just annoying to me.
I've binged-read this series in one go because of the audience, and honestly this is the type of bl (or not) story i love, if this can be considered as one (i'll assume it's heading that way for now). I like stories where the author knows how to write and make the romantic development feel natural and knows how to take it's time, where they fill it with mundane stuff mostly, doesn't rely on major stuff happenings..it just makes the development worthwhile. I wish many bl authors does this format, but i guess it's called a hidden gem for a reason. One example i can think of is "Here and There and Us" series. Right now i'm torn between wanting or not to get invested on this karaoke series, because i've no clue if the story and the ending is heading to where i hope it's heading . I don' t want to end up being disappointed

Few nitpicks with this manhwa. First of all, great art and pretty good story concept; but the way it executed feels underperforming imo most of the time. It's like i'm being presented with a flashcard rather than feeling that the characters/story are "alive", if that makes sense. The expressions is a bit stiff that i can't really feel their emotion, I think the most expressive character here is the brother with the scar, and probably Seongjae. But then again, this is a good story with a very good art, just the "stiffness" of it made me feel disconnected with the story. But i guess this manhwa just isn't for me..?(even though i like how it started and the plot)
