I wish the author would have cut the rape scenes out. Pilgyeon’s backstory was truly saddening but he was already an irredeemable character for what he expected from Soongap, and what he did to his lover. It was just NOT NECESSARY to further the plot. I know it may seem useless to complain on this site but the hope is that attitudes towards rape scenes change so creators stop writing them in bc its fucking sick
