Do y'all not know what trauma bond is? Holy shit, why are y'all shocked that Yigon easily sided with his brother who he clearly tries to get approval from? Like, it's mentioned several times along the story, Yigon wants to "go back to the way they were" with his brother. He valued their childhood memories so much, and it's what constantly blocks his mind from accepting that his brother don't want anything to do with him. Taekang is just another person, he fell in love with. At the end of the day, the first person he cared about is his brother, before taekang came along. And Hell, Taekang and Yigons "Bond" weren't even real to begin with, it was rocky and unstable, unlike the comforting familial love that he had with his brother when they were kids.
