It just show the struggles of the mother and wife. How they need to let go of their carefree youth and dream when they become a wife and a mother. The husband just be "there" helping the basic (not the wolf after his wife make CLEAR instructions). Women need to sacrifice many things for love (getting married, have kids). Using the defence that they working hard to support the family is bullshit. The wife also having the work.
This manga shown or using the metaphor that the supernatural/non-human women will turn to human and "getting happier and meaningful life" when they reach motherhood, falling in love, getting married etc. Is this supposed to encourage women to get married and having kids?
Working hours for Japanese is insane that a husband (in this context) only available at home at night. No to mention it's common for them to stop somewhere drinking before going home. How can they help with the housecore and spending time with his family when they're under the influence of alcohol? Drinking culture is dumb and toxic. It damaging your health and organs, getting hungover, make you drunk and hinder your ability to think straight and control your own body, wasting money, smell bad etc. Is their food that bad and tasteless that people always need to pair alcohol with food to make it "good" experience?
