Oh no. This is the hardest part in the plot for spirit/ghost story. Everyone at peace and moving on to the next stage. Saying goodbye to the main character. Hope she will wait for him to return to that restaurant again after he dies before they can depart together

I am amazed on how mangaka who make slice of life and comedy story like this never ran out of ideas. How how well they thinking about the quirks and silliness of each characters. The chapter will be so random, silly and out of context. It's a bonus if it involved supernatural/fantasy too.
Turn out this manga only have 5 chapters more. Why it always happened with Shounen Jump+? Some good series abruptly just ended like that. I think it's called axed manga? Manga where it doesn't meet the requirements of popularity and sales like that. Authors can't properly make a good ending and left readers with "Huh? Wtf it's the last chapter"?
The ending really look just like the end of an arch. This manga have so much potential with the entirely unique concept. No demons or monsters, but disease that been weaponized.

This will be awesome as k-drama. The cheating evil husband. The murders drama. The goodness of people despite their looks. The humour. The sadness of losing a father and his sacrifice hard work for his daughter. I don't read this manhwa for a while, did the daughter and her friend (red hair) romancing? No right?
To answer your question, yes they're a couple now. A little rushed imo but it's not the focus of the story and I think they deserve each other.
