Not to slander the new art but I kinda likedthe art in the beginning more, when I compare them both they are beautil on their own but in the later chapters they all look so idk...buff? Like buffier than in the beginning, the duke looks like he gained a lot of muscles and his whole build got wider, same with karina, same with their faces, they feel more...rough like sturdier. For me the art in the beginning was more refined and delicate but maybe that's my own preference. The art in the later chapters is still beautiful especially with the details but if I could pick one over the other it would definitely be the art in the earlier chapters
I really like yaois like these where they get to know each other in like an rpg or mmo but it's always the same boring thing, they like only talk for 40 chapters in this mmo and we like NEVER see their real life faces for long, only that mmo and like chapter 60 or so with the same plot like fighting other guilds and shit and after chapter 80 or so they finally meet for the first time and ofc they don't know each other and then they meet again in the mmo for another 20 chapters until idc at chapter 150 they find out who they are etc.....So boring, I also just skipped 10 chapters and feel like I didn't miss any plot tbh. I really liked Guildmate next door, the beginning was the same boring thing but after them meeting more often, we saw more real life interaction which was a erally nice contrast
