So taejo ran and tried to chase yoon



And yoon was with kwon on the car after kwon finally realised his feelings he told yoon "i love you" and originally their sex friends relationship is going to end either way since kwon is about to leave overseas as he said from the start but this time kwon asked yoon "please come with me" or something like that so that they could build their relationship again but this time as lovers and not as sex friends


In yoon house he's conflicted towards kwon as he was saying if i start a new life with you will i end up hurting you just as i hurted him too? If thats the case i can't bear it and yoon proceeded to cry in his bed (not completely accurate but somewhat related from what i understood)





Going back to taejoo he went home and he saw his mom crying and running away and his mother said I'm going to your aunt

(yoons mom maybe, because from what i remember their relationship is blessed by both parents" and taejo asked his aunt(mothers sister maybe?)

what happened to his shocked his aunt said that "yoon is going back to the place where the accident happened" taejo immediately ran away and went for yoon



He went into yoon room and he saw yoon crying and taejo immediately asked yoon if he really was going back to where his accident happened and yoon agreed


The shocked taejo immediately fell to tears begging yoon to don't go

He said something like please stop this

I don't want it to happen again i can't imagine to live in a world where you don't exist please i love you please don't go

And to my surprise taejo actually agreed taejo said something like if we ever part again i don't think i could love anyone besides you anymore, and they held hands together smiling while crying as they sort out their problems talking to eachother






Going back to kwon i think it was kwons place

Kwon saw yoon infront of his place or something and kwon immediately knew what yoon was gonna say

Kwon said let's talk inside i don't want to hear what your going to say here


And yoon immediately replied with "bro"

(thats what it said to the google trans i was laughing my ass off, its basically an alternative word for hyung or sunbae or senior or sumshit)

And kwon was shocked when yoon said he broke up with taejo and got his hopes up but yoon also said something like

I have many problems to think of and i think we should end this relationship here, and kwon immediately said i love you to yoon and yoon said something like i don't know if you will get hurt in the future because of me but the thought of you suffering in pain because of me i dont want that to happen


(Keep in mind that where kwons going to transfer and where yoon is going is completely different)

Kwon said something like i know our start was rash and i hated myself building our relationship like that but can't we just start over again??


Yoon apologized saying they can't be together anymore



Kwon also said that i probably can't love anyone like you again this is final after this we are never going to meet again, if by any chance i meet you here again that would be nothing but coincidence

(I think he's implying that after parting he wants to meet yoon again even if many years passed by)

Yoon said that it's never going to happen and kwon darkened and went inside his place and yoon standing there crying

I like that they continued the lil bros dream from the 1st chapter. In the beginning of the story he was having trouble recalling what it was he kept dreaming about, but in the end it was because he wanted to see his brother continue his piano playing in a grand hall with many admirers. When the lil bro was recalling how the EMT handed him a pizza delivery cap, and looking at the scooter the big bro was riding, it makes me think that the big bro secretly had a part time job to take care of the bills and school payments since the father was a neglectlful, recluse which, also, is probably why the big bro had to quit the piano and start slacking off in school. It was a lot to suddenly have to take care of your own parent and have adult problems before you are even of age.

I have a question.. What’s their age gap? I remember her talking about how she’s about the same age as ML’s “son”.. and from what I read, ML brought in a pregnant woman when he was 18.. So does that mean their age gap’s about there? Or am I wrong??

Mmmmmm so he married a woman who was already pregnant when he was 18
His son was 20 when died. So 18+20 = 38 !!!!!!!

I don’t think this story was ever supposed to be considered a “love story”. Yes it involves a “romantic” relationship, but it’s not about love at all, and that’s ok.
This is more about understanding. They are not in a “loving” relationship, but they’re in a very “stable” (as stable as a psychopath can be), understanding relationship.
Now for the people freaking out about this story “romanticising” psychopaths, I don’t think the story/author did that, but the readers did.
Honestly, even in story, most people don’t necessarily “like” Kang Moo. I think he’s shown throughout the story as a bit unaproacheable. He’s not really “charming”. I seriously don’t think the author was trying to make him a “romantic” lead at all.
As for the whole issue about loving a killer and how could Kirin so easily accept that fact, well I’m reality nobody knows how they would react to being in a situation like that. We would all like to think that we’d be rational and never do anything out of bounds, but if faced with a situation where either you or a loved one was raped and it was just brushed aside, could we really remain “pure” and believe in the justice system?
I watch a lot of true crime, and it is infuriating to see cases where the perpetrator has been in and out of jail multiple times for rape/sexual abuse/molestation and they get a slap on the wrist. Usually these people are finally put away until they kill someone.
Has anyone read/watched A Time to Kill? In that story a 10 year old girl was brutally raped and left for dead and her dad knew that no justice would be done and decided to take the law in his own hands. Should we condone vigilantism? No, of course not, but sometimes when there is a gross miscarriage of justice, people stop thinking rationally.
And lastly, to the ones complaining about the unrealisticness of not being caught. If you pay attention, it was somewhat brought up in the story.
At some point (can’t remember the exact chapter) Kang Moo did mention that killing someone without a plan is bound to leave traces. Every and all murders that took
Place in this story we’re meticulously planned.
And another thing, I feel the author kind of left the story open ended. Like it’s never stated that Kang Moo won’t kill again, it’s in his nature after all, but I think that if he does decide to kill again, it won’t be some random person. I think he might go the Dexter route and go for people that might have fallen through the justice system’s cracks.

What’s the new and LAST extra about?

The new extra is with Kirin and Kang Moo in their early 30s so it continues from the end of the special extras.
You see Kang Moo wearing the necklace Kirin gave him and keep on working as a forensic doctor and he became quite famous bc of his skills in finding the killers etc
Anyway, he has a new murder case and the killer was the one who kidnapped Kirin.

The killer this time is known as the “florist killer” because he puts flowers/plants in the mouth of his victims. Anyway he has a grudge against Kang Moo, because the latter while being interviewed by a reporter about the case he called this florist killer impotent lmao and bc of this the florist killer went on a revenge mission.

So he stalked Kirin and disguised himself as the delivery guy, he asked Kirin to take a package and caught him off guard and kidnapped.
The bodyguard tells Kang Moo he lost Kirin because he didn’t pay attention to the building’s entrance basically the spot where the “delivery man” parked his car and chatted with Kirin.

Moving onwards, you see Kang Moo a la NCSI tv series trying to figure out who the killer is and most importantly the location where he holds Kirin hostage. Meanwhile doing this Kang Moo thinks “ If Kirin dies..what will happen to me? If I don’t have my break anymore, will I go on a killing spree?...I’m sure that I’ll be sorry/regret his death...for a briefly moment..that’s it...but Kirin is not dead yet!” — and then he puts his mind in the game and finds the culprit.


When he finds Kirin, this one is tied up to a bed and before untying him KM says something like “this would be a nice play to try in the bedroom” at this Kirin is like “ stop talking nonsense and untie me”

After this Kang Moo takes the killer into a basement and turn hims basically into a vegetable lol [he doesn’t kill him though] —> he performs a transorbital lobotomy

When everything is settled, you see the reporter trying to get another interview from Kang Moo whereas this one is like “ talk to Detective Nam he was the leader of the mission” and flees away
