Rivals / Enemies to Lovers
Love ≠ Hate Relationships
Sometimes I just want a seme to treat the uke right
Youd make me rlly happy by recommending this list :))
After reading the first chapters of this webtoon, it’s becoming clear that Gyeom’s feelings for the MC are not exactly healthy. I think that he does like the MC, but it’s a possessive, controlling kind of affection. He treats the MC as his property rather than a person. The MC is more of an object in his eyes, a symbol of what he owns.
Gyeom’s jealousy is obvious and extreme. He seems like the type who can do whatever he wants with anyone else, but the moment someone looks at his “possession,” he loses control. This imbalance shows a deep need to dominate and control. I also suspect he is extremely manipulative, orchestrating situations so that the MC becomes dependent on him, unsure of themselves without his influence.
It’s hard to tell whether there is any genuine care behind his actions or if it’s purely about control. There’s a sense that Gyeom enjoys having someone completely under his influence, testing the limits of loyalty and submission.
Reading this makes the dynamic feel tense and almost suffocating, the kind of relationship where love and obsession are dangerously intertwined, and the MC’s autonomy is constantly at risk.
