Last time I felt this from a manhwa is when I read Guardians of the Lamb. The FL there is troubled too and you know the ML being the uhm assigned protector kinda. I recommend this guys if you wanna read some thing that has the same vibes lol I've already read that thrice!
Gotta admit, the way the author wrote the villain here is sooo good. Everytime she shows up in a panel, I get uncomfortable and unsettled just like what the other characters feel lol Not just because of her empty eyes and black-hole-like mouth, even just her dialogue is enough to make you uncomfy. And the chemistry between the FL and potential MLs and her bestfriend lol I love this ugh
I can already feel it, heck it feels so out of place if this story got a happy ending for anyone here but I'll read it anyways
