Serious, he straight up back-handed them right off Qingqing and sent them flying! And I thought Curtis throwing the basket with the baby snakes in a fit of rage was bad, but Parker full on smacked them straight through the air. That was WAY worse! At least the feral beastmen are known for being harsh on their kids so they can survive on their own later, but geez Parker, WTH!? Not to mention he keeps neglecting them and dumping them on Curtis to babysit. Guess no one who thinks Parker is better than Curtis can use that as an example of why they think is better anymore.
There's been no updates for months and MangaUpdates says it's complete with 38 chapters, but chapter 38 leaves things completely inconclusive. Was it canceled? I mean, I can see why if it was, the story is all kinds of messed up, but was that really the end? Because it wasn't an end. Or is it just one of those things where this was just the first Season and that's what's over, but there's going to be more in a new Season?
Honestly, if there's going to be more, I'm not exactly sure if I want to continue with how twisted the story is, but after pushing through these 38 chapters, I at least want some type of resolution, but this gives us nothing, it's like it was jus dropped, which kind of feels like a middle finger to everyone who choked through all the disturbing stuff to see where the hell this was going.
