Okay… as someone that read this when it came out and was a huge fan, I have to say this was just okay especially as the story progressed, there was a period where I also dropped because it contains a non-con scene but I decided to finish it regardless.

However, if someone is willing to ignore that ig… I still feel like plot wise eehhhhh, like till this day the love story between the MC and ML still feels somewhat incomplete/unfinished based on the chapter pacing— basically just feeling rushed and short imo, and this is largely because they become established in basically the last chapter and I despise that trope. The author does try to make up for it with the side stories and it being there to provide more content of them as lovers but even then I still feel iffy.

6.5/10, not bad but not all that great compared to the many other stories I have read oh and pretty freaking amazing art as well if that’s something u like.

Yep he is a bright red flag, however he does solve heewon's life problems and will start to mellow out a bit by the end still you'll see a lot of abuse first from the chapter where u at rn

Yeah this is no love story. It's stockholm syndrome. Just when you think there's a chance the ML changed for the better the next chapter shows you nope. He just gave him more room in his leash just to give him the illusion of freedom. (/≧◇≦＼)

ML's character in a nutshell: 'Why am i so attracted to this creepy loser, he just have a pretty face but he's annoying like everyone else. Still, when he's not stalking me I wonder what's he's doing..' then later ln proceeds to break the hands of anyone who as much as grazes heewon's body - source: trust me bro, nahh just kidding its from his pov in the novel

ML after MC discovered he's evil: Well the cat's out of the bag he knows I'm a gangster. It was bound to happen eventually. Time to kill him. But he's kinda cute when he's crying and about to piss himself. I guess I don't have to kill him. You know what I'll take control of his life and make him my pet. My parents never gave me enough love and attention. Now I can make him love me and focus all his love and attention on me. If he doesn't I'll leave him poor, injured, and alone. So this is what it's like being in love (▰˘◡˘▰) .
