Next, the story. So idk how the Vietnamese version said black dragon society but in the Japanese version I read it only said those people were the yakuza so yeah :)
Lastly, Ray said things about "uncle" in Vietnam is a sign of respect so Reona's not that much of a freak but in the Japanese raws that I found, sadly (or not?) Reona is actually in love with her actual blood related uncle. In the panels where Shirayuki asks Takagi who is the one that Reona likes and he says 「玲央奈の叔父だ．．．．．．」which tls to "Reona's uncle......" Another panel where a girl told Reona she can't marry her uncle it says 「叔父とは結婚できないよ？」tls "You can't marry your uncle, you know?" These panels were also tl'd as such in Ray's version (godly how the same meaning was kept through 2 tls) but the thing to focus on is in Japanese, if you are calling another man that isn't blood related to you, 「叔父さん」is how they usually are referred to. If the author was referring to an older male Reona knows, then Takagi would probably say 「玲央奈の知り合いの叔父さん」(an uncle that Reona is acquainted with) instead. When referring to someone's relative, in Japanese they don't use suffixes like -san.
