
This is the part where I feel iffy about her thought process.
After you used him for your own purpose (without even telling him a thing about your true motive for bringing him in), acting nice and showering him with gifts without having genuine feelings for him nor letting him get closer to you on a personal level. You wanted him to love you but you never truly showed him who you were as a person. You made him twisted and desperate like this (as if falling prisoner and enslaved wasn’t already enough). And now you just easily threw him away and endlessly torment him.
I don’t really blame Eclis for having ended up this way. Penelope was never a genuinely good person to him
