I kept expecting things them to work it out eventually, given how they clearly loved one another to the point they felt safe in each other's arms. But this story faced a sadly realistic turn of events. I knew it'd take a sad turn the moment his sister foreshadowed that he can find another good man in the future, and perhaps that is what happened. They will both look back at this relationship as something to reflect on and something to grow... it may not have been the ending we wanted, but it was a ending where they found peace within themselves
