This def has a lot of layers to it. Initially thought it was just 2 cowboys having the time of their lives but WOOOOOWWW like actually WOW.
Personally, it feels like a story surrounding lust and temptation as Dennis slowly gets woo'ed by this man that randomly showed up one day. That warning in the beginning about focusing on the sheep shows that this seemed to have happened before. Unfortunately, he fell into that same trap and being tied to something even he himself isn't completely aware of. It looks like Dennis has already been captured by Todd. Now Todd on the other hand seems to be some sort of manifestation of a devil (?) I'm not sure yet. He knows the right words to use with Dennis, enough to slowly drive him insane and make him follow whatever he desires, even if it goes against the man's morals.
URGH IM SO CURIOUS FOR THE LAST FEW CHAPTERS I thought this would be a longer story tbh but it fits the theme
