
i think the reason it's so disjointed is bc there aren't many in-between moments, like they're not showing any cars, walking, cascade of panels showing passage of time. it's just scene, text, scene. the text doesn't really act as a scene bumper, either, so it all feels like much faster pace than i guess it's intended to be? or maybe it's exactly as speedy as it's meant to be. we don't really know much about the world, and it feels like these exposition moments aren't hitting hard bc there's too much talking and not enough showing.
