Wow what a journey, this probably will be my last comment on this manhwa but I was here at the beginning when this manhwa was released. I knew it’s gonna get popular and I knew the plot is exactly what I wanted. It’s been fun reading this, even though there’s a lot of rollercoaster where I stopped reading it for a while because of how emotional I was and was not prepared for the ending. But I love the side stories.

Well I can’t find in my list but here’s a description of the yaoi I’m trying to find, I don’t even know if this is a yaoi but pretty much kinda:
The “mc” have a sister but his sister’s boyfriend was force to marry someone else but they are trying to get away with it, so the “mc” supported them. But instead got kidnapped by the sister’s boyfriend’s “brother”. And was trapped in the some kind of apartment or room. And the rest you know if you know the manga ty.
Any idea? It’s kinda cringe to say “mc” when it’s a yaoi, not some kind of isekai lol

I feel like the amount of people still support this manhwa kinda disgusted me. I used to hate Rashta so much but her actions kinda make sense. Our main leads doesn’t even do anything about the poverty of the poor. And I feel like the author just making this story, a powerful female lead destroying a poor dirt girl who just wanna escape poverty. It’s so sad that the author has to paint Rashta as the villain. The villain shouldn’t have been Rashta but more of the Emperor himself. Don’t go in my comment and say “but in the story, she doesn’t know this and that and it’s common”. If the female lead is smart and educated enough, she would know what happening in her country but no. She’s just like every rich person is, care about themselves to the point they don’t care about their own country. Yes, she might not be the empress of her country anymore but she didn’t even do anything to help her country regardless. I’m sure she have enough power to change a lot of things. I haven’t touch this story for a long time and I will never touch it ever again. Hate my opinion all you want but it’s the truth. There’s plenty of stories out there that has powerful female lead.
Frankly I'm disgusted of your naivety. Y'all really tunnel vision on Rashta being a slave bring the issue and thus in your compassionate and naive logic she is excused for every unnecessary evil deeds she brought.
Rashta didn't get a bad ending bc she tried social climbing her way to survive. She got it because she got too greedy and gave in to malice and her delusions when she was her highest. Objectively speaking, and with no "poor girl" sympathy in the table, she brought her own doom. She is ignorant indeed. But saying she didn't have the means to think cleverly, because bro, she might be naive and lack knowledge but she's NOT stupid, is just you saying you didn't read this webtoon. Rashta constantly have people at her side outside the duke and the trashy blackmailing trash (i forgot his name), but she turned them all away and didn't acknowledge them.
And deluded herself that she can deal with the issue alone. She cast away all the people that wanted to help her. Frankly it's only her fault that she ended up alone. Whenever up r told you this duke cannot be trusted and you only believe in yourself after being proven that you can't trust yourself because you have knowledge of court your in... And yet you still trust the duke and take every warning and critique as a insult to your pride,... Yeah that ain't understandable ignorance that just plain stupidity and pride. Duke edgy didn't even told her to ignore and refuse other people's help, he just told her to wear this and sign this and that. Her ignoring people she has around was all her decision. Same for the harms and cruelty she did. It was all her initiatives. Saying she didn't have the common sense to see what's right and wrong is too. Because we all see throughout the story that she knows what was done to her was wrong. She knew certain actions would cause people harms.
She got to the the highest point but she still wanted more. You might think "what's wrong with that?". If a state leader decided to massacre people because he has paranoia, would you think the same? You think they don't need to be critized? Saying that Rashta is irrational and harmful to others after she tortures a defenseless animal, is not common sense???
Rashta 100% deserved all the happiness, freedom and a normal life... Until she didn't. She abused her power, she ignores warnings (she was told she needed to stop), and attacked people out jealousy and pleasure. Not for survival. Not for her or her children sake. You wouldn't say to the killer of your son/friend/sister/parebt that he deserve to be happy and run free after harming the people you love... The same goes for Rashta. The lies weren't her own but the assassination, torture and falsely accusing was all hers. Her punishment was to great for her crimes that is 100% certain and right but claiming she has no fault is just y'all being delusionals. The emperor is transh and i loath the author for giving him a redemption arc. Even tho I know they are being realistic.... Sadly and disgustingly people that did bad get away with it and lead happy life while the victim perish...
Do I hate rashta? No. I'm just writing this long ass reply because I'm grossed out by people painting her as a martyr with no fault in her situations and excusing her cruelty.
And y'know supporting her because they love the romantic concept of an underdog being in power and fighting for their survival. Someone that has poor backgrounds can't be evil or is excused to be able because people were evil to them.
Her actions were reasonable and not baseless, but saying she wasn't in the wrong is... screaming to me that your moral compass is not working properly, I'm sorry.
Btw I hate this webtoon too. The author clearly favors Navier, the Bird guy and the Emperor. And the hated Rashta. Frankly the author writing Rashta what if extra story is very telling they ended up regretting giving her a bad end after people called them out.
I don't like Navier, the bird man and emperor either. Same for the the twins (you'll know why later).
Clearly the author write this initially with a clear goal in mind Rashta getting a bad end and Navier getting a happy ending.
Navier is the mc ofc the author will like & favour their own protagonist
Yeah i know but, author is a bit too much on that regard. The bird man, duke and the emperor were technically the ones that did worst in the story. Navier was also questionable. But, author frame the context to make her less of a menace by intentionally making Rashta detestable. Navier didn't have to support or be on Rashta's ally but she also didn't have to put Rashta in dire situations of being humiliated. In a way Navier is the same as the emperor and rashta she's not aware of the consequences of her actions.
Navier should have warned her lady in waitings, instead by being passive and a technically a sulking flower pot in the room, he let her ladies in waiting have free reign in antagonizing Rashta and spread rumors around her. Technically Navier was also at fault (altho not entirely) on what caused Rashta to resort to fake rumors to protect herself and what lead to Sovieshu to be an asshole in the first part of the story.
But, the author not wanting Navier to be in a bad light painted her always depressed and humiliated and thus naturally lead the average leader to sympathize with her. While Rashta is always portrayed in her worst. Only when the author noticed Rashta has gain supports of the readers that she started writing her extra stories.
Long story short: this entire story boils down to characters getting away and being held accountable of their actions because they're the author's favorite
*getting away with their evil deeds and not being held accountable.

Yes I get it also I don't like their parenting style in the novel I don't know how the manhwa will portray it but I was disappointed with them
Lol tbh I dropped this because ages ago but checked it yesterday to see a scene. In the novel there was this lovely illustration of her in a white gown and big hat when she met the emperor again. *Laughs* the webtoon completely changed her dress. I don't hate the artist btw just y'know, sad about it haha...
And yes, i feel the same bout their parenting. But who knows maybe they change in the webtoon or not mention it since it wouldn't be the first time RHs webtoon skipped scene etc.
You have a lot of options for this story apparently some people don’t like rashta and some people do that’s how comments go. Some people like this story some people don’t you just have to live with it. You can drop it or not if they continue on with this story it up to them I happen to like it btw, the bird man’s name is Hinrey and he is emperor of the western empire which used to be a kingdom!

You also lacked the comprehension skill and effort to read that I dropped this ages ago when I finished the novel. Ik there are alternative. It was also never about bullying people that like the story and telling them not to read this. Or asking people if they love the story....
The same way you bring out that people can hate and dislike this story, have the decency to allow others to speak out their own opinion on things be it go or not. You don't have to respect my own opinion ofc.
And frankly, I CAN DO WHAT I WANT.
If I wanna check a webtoon I didn't like because I wanna see Navier in the white that was drawn nicely, I will. If I wanna write an antithesis of a comment I see have black holes, I will.
