Something that has always annoyed me about omegaverse is how when a couple bonds, the omega pheromones only affect the omega's pair, however, even if an alpha is bonded, they can still smell other omega's pheromones, am I the only one that hates that?

Omegaverse as a whole just feels so dehumanizing esp when it comes to omegas like the other person said how the omega is stuck once bonded but the alpha can still be with others. its like it’s own new form of misogyny lowk idk it’s weird which is why I stopped reading omega verse. If it’s actually good and well written I can stomach it but tbh I only reason alpha x alpha at most
In general I hate the whole destined lover sh*t, so bonded pairs annoy me, but overall the whole premise of omegaverse is stupid.
Humans are primates, and primates have menstrual cycles, by having omegas have an estrous cycle they’re not even human, but a humanoid non-primate mammal, so I agree that omegaverse is dehumanizing.
Like I could kinda see why omegas would be ostracized and considered “less than”, because of their estrous cycles, but logically speaking, alphas wouldn’t be much better. Why are people easily affected by pheromones who then lose their inhibitions any better than the ones releasing those pheromones? I’ve never understood that logic.
