Sorry guys. Actually, the MC ends up with the brunette ML. I remembered it was tagged completed when the "said" final chapter was uploaded on a no longer existent website (zinchan mirror). So, I looked for the raw again, and lo and behold, there was another chapter after the extras were uploaded. I felt bad when I realized I accidentally misled everyone for years, so sorry guys
Here's the true ending,
The MC wanted to accomplish his goal to become a great actor at the same level as the brunette and reunite with him. When the MC and his step-brother arrived at the airport, the step-brother saw the brunette from afar, realized something, and thought he should be the MC's good brother and move on from his feelings. Then the step-brother told the MC he already knew the MC had faked his amnesia, and encouraged him to be with the brunette guy. After the MC got the encouragement, he flew to another country. Then, the MC confessed to the brunette guy at the film award ceremony.

I love Chris. He has a great talent, is kind to his servants, and caring. That's why I am surprised so many people are simping on "neglected" Nathaniel and critiquing Chris. I'm sure no one in that palace cared about the tragic death of the original Chris and his son, because Nathaniel, as an official husband, had his own child as an heir. That's the reason why I don't like Nathaniel and Allen. Like Chris said before about the original Chris, he was clingy and annoyed Allen, but his son was innocent. If Chris hadn't moved their hearts with his new personality, those two would still be a heartless couple who ignored the child murders in their family.

The whole online war started bc of that barely MxM interaction enough for uploader to put yaoi tag on it.
I learned from my past mistakes, josei tag + yaoi tag = straight main couple, that's it.
At first I think, "is this some genderswap shit?" Then I saw josei tag and goes "meh, I'm not desperate enough to dig out some yaoi crumbs from all that big tiddies and wet pochies"

I knew this was going to hurt but daaaaaamn. I was not prepared for the ending. As it is, I reject the canon ending. It does not exist. It's not fact in my delusional mind. I desperately wish the webtoon will NOT have the same ending. If it does I'm going to write fanfics, I tell ya. ALL the fanfics, God damnit. ! There's some absolutely bullshit excuse that Ray, after a whole lotta drama and death and excitement, becomes the Emperor of Strahss again. Jiskar stays emperor of El Fascher. They get a Bittersweet Ever After. So, yes, Ray, at novel's end will "cheat" on Jiskar because he will "have" to have children to continue his fake lineage on the Strahss throne.

Remember, Levnoad, reincarnated in his current body as Ray the slave is not in any way, whether it's blood or political or even nationalistically, related to the Strahss Imperial family.

If the author really wanted to be "realistic", as reviewers claim, the author could have STILL made Ray the Emperor of Strahss withOUT making him "cheat". Even if Jiskar also understands why Ray is doing it. (Actually, I don't know about this "understanding".) All Ray has to do is keep the children of his predecessor's as Heir. Those kids actually have the Imperial Strahss bloodline.

That way, even if he has to bring in an Empress, he won't have to touch her because there's already viable heirs but naaaaah, gotta include "unfaithfulness" and separation (even if they try to find time to meet and do lovers-type shit via a Mage portal that cuts travel time by a fuckton, it's not the same) in this to be angst filled porn to the very end. I'm extremely angry over this. Just so fucking disappointed.

I feel bad for the people in this story. Not only are you guys stressed out by the heat, rut, and pheromone problems, but God is also adding another life problem to your already problematic life, Dynamic.
