I'm going to have to go back and reread this after I separate it from the novel because at this point it's like 2 different stories.
1) the apostle Teil doesn't show up at all in the novel, and is made up for the webtoon but alteast he's cute
2) Biggest change gots to be lee min sung, and I'm really disappointed. Because the apostle isn't in the novel lee min sung is actually controlled by Arsha (heir to the insect monarch, that girl in the host club talking to Min Sung in the beginning was actually important in the novel) but because of his ego Arsha can't fully control him either. He ends up becoming the new heir to the insect monarch and becomes a shadow soilder named Kwei who can talk. He's loyal to Sunho and he beefs with Beru daily. Why they changed this idk
3) Everytime Sunho takes control of a monarch heir he's transported to the former monarchs domain to chat with them. Afterwards they randomly show up and run commentary on his life like they're watching Sunho live stream. It’s pretty funny.
There's a bunch of other stuff they changed as well and honestly I would have loved this webtoon if I never read the novel first. The Webtoon is still really good but just different
I let this marinate for almost 10 chapters and I came back to find that nothing happened. Hae-soo is still insecure in her not quite a relationship with Taeha because he's being purposely vague about his background but she won't confront him about it but still worries that he's lying but won't press him for answers. It's an endless cycle. Nothing is being done with Taeha's family or with Taeha himself. Before he was mysterious but now it's annoying that he can't give her an honest answer to save his life. He's obessed with Hae-soo and I love that but what else? No other confrontation with Mincheol and idgaf about his background I need karma to break a chair over his head and leave him concussed. Also I need the plot to start moving again.
Now go fuck her shit up Ras! Where the hell was the emperor finding all these crazy women
I like that season 3 is focusing on his healing journey because baby boy needs it
MC is trying so hard to walk away with his boots hole intact but he's just prolonging the inevitable
We get a lot of stories like this and even the popular ones have their faults in my opinion but this one is really good all around. Nice characters a good story and a nice flow of events. I love this one.
I'm only on chapter 3 but this is pissing me off, he got debt in her name, divorced her but is still using her as a live in sex maid. Y'all not married and you don't have any children why are you still with him girl

I almost threw my phone when the words "what would you do if someone was pregnant" left his mouth because I knew the stereotypical misunderstanding was going to happen and it makes everyone that asks it look dumb. Like the top didn't even know the bottoms was an omega tf would you ask him that question
Can someone please explain to me why the family would be upset that he’s still alive? Does it say anywhere that something bad will happen if the sacrifice is kept alive or that the sacrifice absolutely has to die? Anything to explain why the family is crashing out so hard!

The only reason this is popular is because it’s in color and the art is pretty. The uke is absolute trash and the seme is also trash. I wanted them to both suffer but instead they end up together in a happy ending, I want Taeshin to have a better time in his next life and I hope he never meets these awful people again and gets to be happy (〜￣△￣)〜
I have come to the conclusion that I’m not reading for this story for plot (because it sucks tbh and Mido’s reasoning for doing this doesn’t make sense) but just for the smut because that’s great
It would have made better sense if the boss (I can’t remember his name) didn’t know about the father being involved and was speechless like the rest of us. There is no good explanation he is going to have for letting them believe it was just the step mother when he was aware the father was involved the whole time and he knows the father’s real personality. If he even gives an explanation on why he never told anyone such vital information, they might gloss over it.
