It's kinda starting to feel like we're never gonna see the end of it, she just keeps milking it knowing that the fans will continue reading out of emotional pressure and attachment to the characters. I've been reading since middle school and I don't want to give up on it simply because I grew up with this story and it feels emotionally taxing, but if I'm being honest I'm sick and tired of this, I lost all and every interest I ever had in this

tbh its clear its not supposed to be that kind of story and its fine, the characters are fun and the occasional chapter is a treat, due to the strict chinese censorships we will never see the character relationships defined
But it used to be that's what makes it even harder to quit it, we used to have an actual storyline and consistent development, the characters actually interacted and contributed to the progress of the story, now it feels random and arbitrary and the chapters end before they start. I feel like not even old Xian cares about 19 anymore and just doing as a cash grab which is valid get that check girl, I'm just venting about my personal feelings with it

I'm not even a Christian and the use of the cross as a sex toy really disturbed me, I feel like thats a very sacred line that shouldn't be crossed, it was fine when it was about a deacon and a sister indulging in a forbidden relationship, there was no need to include very clear disrespectful innuendos, this felt very targeted towards the core of the religion itself and it implied that people's beliefs and convictions are just delusions and someone who leads a very disciplined lifestyle has to have an obscure and dark secret behind all the virtue and restraint, very bad message and a veryyyyyyy bad interpretation of Christianity, I hope the author heals from whatever pushed them to come up with such a heinous story
Disrespectful yes, but it's weird how using the cross was the line lol. Like personally, them religious ppl doing these are more disrespectful
I just feel like some religious people are just hypocrites so it's not that serious that they fucked, the cross however represents the whole religion that's where they should draw the line, they shouldn't be playing with these peoples religion like that
