I kinda feel bad for Spencer because I can somehow understand his actions. I'm not tolerating his behavior towards the princess especially when he talks bad at her but imagine having to be summoned just because the princess requested and then came back where your mom is dead. I know it's not the princess fault that his mom died but still the weather is bad and Spencer has a feeling that something may happen to his mom and still they forced him to go. Plus, he clearly care for the princess before even if it's just a little bit. His subordinate ask him to accompany the princess in her first task. He still did it even though he can ignore his subordinate as he is higher in rank. And I am also kinda the person who only realizes the value of something when it's already gone so I can relate a little bit. I really hope he will find someone soon who will love him and care for him.
