Dear translators, if you don't feel comfortable with the work you were given to do maybe don't do the work at all and stop ruining the mood for others.
If you were paid for the said work, then you just don't deserve the money.

Give it to some f up invidual (as you say) to translate it if it's not up to you valley.
I don't remember seeing a book translators sharing their opinions on subjects in the book. This only shows how unprofessional you actually are. :) and pathetic at that.
