Ch 104- I love this manhwa omggg I don’t usually read ones w chinese history since it’s so complex n I get lost way too easily but this manhwa did it so well

I wanna c the mc get involved in the war now esp since we haven’t seen him fight since he got that upgrade w his inner qi.. so fucking excited

Surprisingly I rlly liked this, I thought it would just be another solo leveling walmart dupe but it honestly exceeded my expectations. The comedy is there, the plot is so fucking good and most important the pacing is perfectttt

I especially love that he isn’t OP from the start like in a lot of diff manhwas, altho u can make that work but I love seeing the character develop. Ik this guy got his powers sealed but nevertheless he’s got a goal and I’m scc excited for him to reach it. It’s not some bullshit half arsed revenge story. And the romance doesn’t bother me too much either bc it isn’t the main focus of the story thank the fucking lord

this manhwa is genuinely so good like it made me stay up past my bedtime and that says smth… so worth my time, can’t wait until the next update. ch74 i was at the edge of my seat and it ended on a cliffhanger

I read this last year but forgot most of the plot so decided to reread. It was fun until around chapter 40 where it got a bit dull, it felt like the mc didn’t have a goal he was j happy to live w his family. then things picked up again in later chapters which was great,but again the story just strayed from the plot and this happened for tens of chapters and it just got so BORING and I can’t like it’s cute and all but I’m tired of reading the same mediocre slice of life that it’s turned into. I stopped on chapter 115 I might j skip and c if smth interesting happens but honestly I’m j disappointed bc I love the characters sm and there’s sm potential but the author is j so SLOW. Like I don’t even know what’s going on anymore, esp after that little blonde girl came in

It j feels like irrelevant shit is happening bc what happened to cecelia I thought she was important but I haven’t heard a thing abt her since she was introduced and Ik she’s meant to be mysterious but it was too many chapters ago. Like the author decided to go on a little side quest and it’s so frustrating bc I’m not interested. the comedy doesn’t hit the same as before either, the jokes feel a bit recycled now.

Also abt the mc, I love him but he’s so bland now. I understand y he would be bland at the start but we’re over 100 chapters in and he’s still like this, and he just doesn’t care enough for me to care either. And the only thing he cares abt is his family which is cute but there’s barely enough action for it to be categorised as an action manhwa. Atp it should be a slice of life comedy.

Y can’t they flesh out his murim background more?? We’ve only gotten tiny tiny snippets that practically mean nothing, but having a whole backstory arc would give us an insight to his personality more and his past but nah 100 chapters is too short apparently but introducing random irrelevant characters is okay. Even tho he’s the mc! I don’t get it

And finally the romance… y does the author keep adding these random annoying women that keep falling in love w him but he doesn’t give a single shit?? It’s so pointless and doesn’t add anything to the story, and just deters it from what us readers acc want to see

I rlly loved this but I’m just disappointed by how it’s unraveled esp in the later chapters (up to 115). hope it’s not just me that thinks this way. I’m going to continue and edit this later if I even catch up
