I've been reading BL (and manga in general since 2006) and, even back then, there is a concept that many people seems to ignore and never considerate just because "it's a freaking manga": critical thinking. People can have their own individual opinions about whatever they are reading, it can generate discussions, curiosity and debate. You won't be on the same page with EVERYONE, but if you want to engage in discussions, you need to be respectful.
For the people who is uncomfortable with the upcoming couple in this series: It's fantastic that you can think about what a medium provoques in you, identifying and criticizing its flaws with the same passion you would talk about something that you really like and bring you joy. But, that doesn't give you the right to feel entitled to go around and say that other individual is a certain type of human being for not thinking (criticize or praise) the same way as you.
For the so called 'OGs', calling other people "childish" or "inmature" for criticizing or being "so easily triggered" by some aspects of the story (or any story in general) is not the right thing as well, having critical thinking also implies the awareness of knowing the fact that not everyone is going to perceive a medium in the exactly same way as you do. Insulting is childish.
I know the internet is like a jungle, and the anonymity that websites like this bring sometimes can make people forget any sort of etiquete. No matter our reasons, we are all behaving horribly by being here in the first place, on and ILLEGAL website. If one day this site closes down it won't be because of it's discussions over certain matters or manga, It would simple be because it's illegal. But that doesn't mean that we have to act as if we were in some dystopian fiction trying to censore each other and being disrespectul.
PS: sorry for the bad english and typos, is not my first language.
