in the novel, if I remember right since it’s been a while since I’ve read it, she does end up having sex with the evil dude in order to keep the team in the finals n all. And then the novel gets insanely even more dark as her coworker gets a ‘boyfriend’, the boyfriend being a solider dude who eventually convinces her to see him in the barracks and the coworker is basically raped on the daily by him and all of the other soldiers. Another coworker finds out, ends up in the same situation and the FL goes to try to replace them so the two girls get spared but they end up so sick that they pass away. FL is basically trapped in the same situation but loses it once she finds out her friends are dead. The novel does have a happy ending and a nice twist so I’m not gonna spoil that but yup. :| that’s the darkest part of the novel.

With the most recent chapter, we’re at what I consider the worst/most traumatic arc.
The dude the soldiers briefly mention ‘the count’s son who got caught assaulting a commoner and got sent to the soliders’ or whatever turns out to REALLY affect the captain aka her coworker’s boyfriend and the rest of the soldiers. They all start becoming very violent and major assholes and eventually the boyfriend/captain convinces the coworker to stay at the barracks to service everyone. The count’s son basically has them all abuse her and end up killing her so they request a different girl after saying the coworker ran away or she’s living happily and quit. (Something along those lines.) That new girl ends also getting abused but manages to get the attention of Haru. Haru tries to replace them so they can heal up but the new girl also passes away and at that point, Haru loses it. Turns out her ability/reincarnation gift is that she gets the skills and level of whoever she’s ever had sex with. So she ends up MEGA OP and kills all the soldiers before breaking down and crying in front of the old man who she found cute earlier in the manga. It has a happy ending after this arc but it’s definitely the peak of everything.
Omg, that's one hell of an ability... I hope she ends up with the old dude and that he's nice... I mean, that OP guy from the same world is creepy af...

novel chitra has absolutely the opposite energy that webcomic chitra has....I’m sure they’re both the same internally but the novel art makes her look so much more dainty.
