ilay threatened xinlu that if he didn't do it with him than he keep messing with tay. xinlu was by this time rlly obsessed w tay and didn't want ilay to even look at him. ilay kinda did all of this so he could mess with tay because he kept the door open and wanted tay to see them doing it.

Yeah I remember that as well. At first i thought past Sungyeon was Sungyeon's grandfather but then someone said that he committed su**** soon after past Hosik died. Even though I don't know where that is mentioned.
I think it's because of the second past sungyeon (you know the noth korean hosik met sungyeon that almost pew himself in the middle of nowhere) did mention that he got a love sick disease and after hosik died in the first life, he went crazy after that (as far as i remembered)
