I kinda think he IS the real Humin and "irl" life was just a coping thing his brain did so that when he came back he wouldn't be so traumatized and could have his happy ending.
My other WISH/HOPE is that the mc is both Humins and that he was the og mc went to his world came back will resolve the plot, go back to his world and his friend will be the ML with all the memories of their "book life"

Yall are insane. Wdym "this chapter gave nothing" like this isn't one episode? This gave a bit, yall just don't pay attention. First of all you complain when it's going too fast, complain when it's going too slow. If you don't like it, quit.
- JJK's shoulder is still recovering but he said fuck it and helped KD. Feelings aside, he still wanted KD alive and gave him CPR. Your take is up to you. I'm pretty sure he also carried KD on his injured shoulder.
- We found out how JJK found KD which is unsurprising, but Potato sent like, several photos. JJK was crazy for looking at wach individual photo for one face (he's desperate)
- We also found out that KD is indeed not suicidal, but the intoxication had him mistake the ocean for the hospital. Clearly his mental state is not sound.
- JJK drove out till midnight to reach KD's town. Again, desperate.
- JJK is under the impression that money is what drives KD. He's hypocritical because not only does he hate when people give him useless things like luxury brands, he also hates it when people use him for money-- that's why he developed a mindset that money solves everything
- KD REJECTED JJK HELLO?!? WASN'T THIS WHAT YOU ALL WERE WAITING FOR?!?!
- KD yanked out his I.V drip. As a physical therapist, he should know it's dangerous for himself. I think at some point he expected something from JJK but JJK bombed it with the money statements. He didn't apologize, but at this point, I don't think KD would believe in it
- THE PARALLEL: Remember when JJK walked out on KD after the spray incident, leaving a trail of blood? This time, KD walked out on JJK
My takes:
- I felt that KD just wanted to get away from JJK. He asked questions from him, almost as if he expected some kind of deeper connection since he used to have a crush on JJK, but JJK absolutely killed it
- JJK needs to change. He hasn't changed yet because he still thinks he's right and that KD used him for money. He's never been rejected before, so this episode really is one step towards him figuring out what he wants from KD. He says that KD will never be able to pay his debts with him, but JJK doesn't care about money. He wants to keep KD but he's doing it unnaturally. It's not right and he needs to see that.
- This is character development in both of them. Idk how it's gonna play out, but we'll see. People need to stop complaining lol. If you still don't believe me after this, ya'll need to quit reading and find something else "not toxic" or "red flag". There's plenty out there. Need recs? I'll give you some.
For all the people that were Saying the main character was wrong for not following his friend and weird for him to engage in a relationship with the main lead.I respect your opinion but I still disagree, It all sounds like a younger person's perspective. But I guess you live and you learn. when you gain more life experience I think you have a change of heart and change of views About relationships in general. Weather platonic or romantic or familial. You will figure out while friends are important some also don't stick around your whole life .There is a season and reason for everything. All friends are not good friends. Just to point out Why would he chase after him When he slapped his hand away told him to basically leave him alone and not to Follow him. What more of a sign that you should not engage with that person for the time being. Even if he wanted to it's a good thing the main lead stopped him because it could have been way worse. Side note Let's talk about It being weird and not right for MC to be with a friend's crush, so because MC isnt aware of anything about his friend having a crush on the main lead and has a relationship with ML they are both trash/weird . You wanna talk about weird...thinking that MC should know better When He doesn't know anything at all to act accordingly. What is also weird is to expect something from other people but the rules dont apply to you. MC tells friend everything about what's going on in his life but it seems friend(npc) doesnt reciprocate.he has not said anything he does not divulge anything to his so called friend. There are people in this world that play in your face act as your friend but in actuality you are just a pawn to be used. They have set up this main character to be gullible and very naive. The truest form of a cinnamon roll. Seemingly not astute in everyone's eyes. As a friend you think he would be there to tell him What it is and what it isnt but no he does nothing until he can benefit from it. At least the ML is telling him the truth be it in a blunt way the MC is able to try to better himself.
Sorry for the rant it just that It irked me that quite a few people had that opinion of this particular situation. I know its not that serious.
