As a European the way they work in America is SO wild to me. Because wdym it's mandatory, tips were made for when you like the service like in expensive restaurants or when you have a friendly waiter. I even see corner stores or self serve stores asking for tips when they're doing bare minimum. But you kinda have to give it or they'll like spit in ......
