I cant believe I wasted my whole day reading this stupid manga. Character development was ass and when their relationship gets a little better it gets way worse after again and again. Didnt finish reading bc i cant believe even at 160+ chapters their relationship is still struggling. Im not about to read this just to get a few chapters of this couple to be happy and actually getting along.

I think the point was that he accepted that she would never be happy as a vampire, and he didn't really want her to be one. He never experienced true happiness as a vampire, because what makes life special is death. They just decided to love each other while they could. And you don't see that development until the end
