    I think it is possible for them to grow back but since the back was also damaged, it will take a while and a lot of treatments to heal his back first and then wait for his feathers to grow back.

I'm glad Hawks didn't turn out this way or at least, he still hasn't. It is an incredibly confusing time and I am really concerned for Deku's mental health.
