Idk, I read this on a whim because I've heard all the ruckus of how the YOI people have shifted to this. I saw a few screenshots, and understood this probably wouldn't be very sane at all. I've read some pretty awful or grotesque Manga, and I've come to regret reading them all. This one included. I've watched a few documentaries on kidnapping and rape. Michelle Knight's Cleveland Abduction was the first thing to pop into my head. Tho, it's not quite perfectly paralleled there are many similarities. - Anyways, while reading this, I found myself repulsed, of course. I honestly felt like I should have just stopped reading at Chapter 6, however I wanted to see what this author would do and why these things were like they are. So I powered through, very unhappily. This is a... horrifying story... to say the least. If anything, I will say it is a thriller and is very immersive with its art style and narration. However, my biggest problem are some of the people's responses to this. I understand this is fiction, yet seeing some of these people say that this is "Hot", "Sexy", or even some saying that they were hoping "that Sangwoo would rape YooBum." It's really disgusting me. This is horrific. Disgusting. I literally am not able to fathom some of these responses. I'm not saying these responses I've seen are strictly from this site either. I've seen them everywhere. I just can't process this. Fiction or not, the atrocities of what you are saying still stands. Please, may some of you rethink your morals and get professional help. I'm worried about humanity. If you enjoy reading this just for the the odd or dark tones or for unique perspective that's fine. Just let's not grossly support or romantize what the abomination that's actually being shown in this story.
