What do you mean not a necromancer? What do you call someone that summons skeletons and whose skills uses copses and souls if not a necromancer?
Depends on what you consider better... it's a ch one so it has that bragging feel characteristic... but compared to most it has less women causing trouble and less fanservice. Like, even the sister he mentions is really his full blooded sister and not a love interest like most... and mc is very focused on doing missions and getting stronger. It doesn't feel like he keps going on side quests instead of doing what he needs.
Mc gets really OP and because there are external threats we don't see a lot of people plotting against or looking down on him cuz the more strong people humans have the better. My only complain is that we don't get much numbers of others on his level to compare how strong he is... but that's just me.

A necromancer brings back the dead. That's the whole point of a necromancer. He's not a necromancer, he's a summoner who summons skeletons. The corpse explosion thing and soul stuff is more like a necromancer, but the summons aren't.

I like OP characters, but to me, it gets really boring if everything is just easy and there's no trouble or struggle. The intro to this world and the characters is really bad imo, so that's why I was asking if it gets better, because sometimes a story will start kind of bad but end up really good. Welp... you have a point in that... but I guess it's more of a difference if the necromancer character is a good guy or a bad guy. When they are the bad guys or enemy we see a lot of it, sacrifices, bringing back the dead, turnin people into zombies e ghouls ect... but when its a good guy we can't exactly have him killing people to turn them into undead and other immoral things... Also, I think the necromancers we see are more pased on game systems than just fantasy settings. That would justify them kinda starting as summoners instead. Even if they start with the necromancer class instead of the mage > summoner/dark mage > necromancer their skills get as nerfed as they can otherwise we can't feel much growth. In the end it's like that wyvern/dragon debacle... if the author says it is then it is... ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I can't really say there's much trouble nor struggle. But I'll be honest here. I'm kinda glad there isn't. Most of the time the trouble and struggles are kinda stupid... either being because mc needs to stop what he's doing to go help someone (most of the time women) or rescue someone (also usually women) or theres people that hate them and are plotting against them (usually also because of a woman)... and seein that again and again and again... got irritatingly boring... while this... if I hadn't gotten spoilers for novel readers that it's harem I would have barelly noticed... because the women appear, help jim with what they can and leave to go live their lives... instead of sticking to him all the time... the comic could be better... but it also could be much worse too...
I recommend Kill the Hero in case you haven't read it yet. That's a good necromance story...

I guess he's more of a dark mage who can summon skeletons and use the souls of the fallen as his own. I mean he does have a few necromancer skills like corpse explosion xD
