i don't get the second lead syndrome that often but the situation here is just horrible. the mc is just being pushed around by everyone when she's just trying her best. she is the reason the family is running but they dgaf about that, her sister runs away with her aide when she could've just spoken to her sister about it, her mother only cares about marrying her children off, now this would be fine, families are not perfect but the ml is also bad. he is lowkey mysognistic he puts on a show with mc's sister in the society even though he has no intentions to marry anyone. all this knowing how this would impact the women's reputations. he lacks a spine severely and it's gonna cost him. the crown princess is Also taking it out on the mc and then introducing the worst character in this manhwa — the crown prince. he is just terrible and annoying period i hate him sm.
i really hope mc ends up with the second male lead. they have similar viewpoints about society and whatnot. dare I say she would make a great empress for him.
