The mother is really pissing me off here. I understand that you’re anxious to save your daughter and whatnot but that doesn’t really excuse her behavior of sitting there like a duck cradling aysel. What good would that do? Plus, against a goddamn spell that was about to hit not only her but perhaps affect aysel too, all she does is close her eyes shut. Okay fine, she got flustered, BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WOULDN’T A DECENT PERSON TRIED TO SHIELD THE BOTH OF THEM AWAY EVEN IF SHE COULDN’T BLOCK THE SPELL WITH MAGIC.
