Yes, at first when Courtney asks Richard if he loves her romantically or in a lustful way, he doesn’t have an answer (he DOES come to say he loves her romantically), but doesn’t want her to go. So here comes the catch… Courtney basically has to raise Richard AND her baby because Richard just isn’t made to have children (some spoilers did say that when her nephew went to the palace for a visit, he got weirdly jealous…).
And tbh, I also don’t really like Richard! But that’s irrelevant rn.
In the side stories, his kids also don’t really like him… so that checks out lol.
