Does anybody know why they bothered making official translations for this if the original was dropped? No hate, I finished reading the fan translations ages ago, but I’ve always wondered why they still continued updating the officials. Do they plan to bring on another artist?
I definitely agree— I’m just surprised they would pour money and effort into a project that went incomplete. They can’t really traffic the masses to the novel because it doesn’t have an official translation (at least, it didn’t when I last poked around). Companies are really greedy, so although pleasant, I am still shocked. Maybe they wanted to scrape what money they could from viewers.

I hate that the good stuff always ends so quickly. Not necessarily this story, but in general. The funding and support unfortunately goes to other things, leaving plots like this one to unfold very quickly. I’m sure it was already a surprise that there was such a big fan base for a one shot, hence why there was an extension, but I almost wish it wasn’t that surprising to publishers or artists that this is what the people want.
