And instead of choosing herself or the new dude, she chooses her ex, who has yet to make any significant change to himself. So break this down: Rich, sultry, noble who is depressed, and manipulative Poor, marginalized man who is trying to better himself And she chooses her fricking ex.
Like. If i see Enzo being done wrong, or being represented as angry, inferior, or stupid. Then this is a classist ass story, that has made no significant progress, with trash world building, and no lesson learned. Like you can’t build up a story that expresses the corruption in royalty, and how the greed of the rich has worsened the life of everyone including themselves, just to do this to your main romance. Bro imma be so mad, cause this actually one of my favorite manwha.
Author if you choose the easy way out, and sacrafice all your world building, and character s for some ass cheeks in the screen, im going to actually CRASH OUTTTTTT.
If this is a web novel, and it ends in the fuck ass way, DEFER, change the ending artist, or even translators idc, somebody make some fanfiction rn and draw that instead, or imma seethe. SEETHEEEEE. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

I’m sure we’ve all had someone that liked us who others felt was a “good guy” but we just didn’t feel anything for them.

My problem isn’t with who she ends up with. It’s how. If they play into the same classist tropes this whole story has been building against for the sake just smooshing the main characters. Then as a said, the story was sacrificed for some ass. If she does end up with the duke ( prob like obviously) then I need major personal development from him, not her saying owo bad man, be a good person or you don’t get this ass. Like….. lock in twin and give me that redemption arc fr

You know there’s a novel, right? Of course she ends up with the Ian. He’s on the cover, in the title, and it’s written in the novel how it happens. I don’t disagree that the OG author rushed this part of the novel compared to the beginning but I always liked Ian from the start so I’m happy they end up together lol. Anything that happens after she goes to prison made the story pretty meh for me because all the characters (even Enzo) aren’t really that well written. But! That’s just my opinion.
