Sweetie, thank you for telling some facts. It is clear the author just wants To give an excuse for his behavior! When i read His backstory, it is heartbreaking and horrible, i mean it is a child abuse. But After the years passed, i know the wonds are still open but like you said that does not mean we can forget what he did in the past. He killed the female and Her family only because the male lead refuse To see the thruth, and still believe this brainless creature of his mistress. Honeslty, it is just because he is the male lead that the author gave him this sad backstory only we can forget about the incident: which is the execution of the female and Her family.

And like you said it is exactly the same thing happened with the abandonned empress. The blue haired prince is a shitty Guy but the AUTHOR was fixed To make him the male lead who Will end up with the female, so she makes a backstory woth the "sad" mife of the prince and the fact he was under a spell.
Honeslty i prefer a shitty male lead and the AUTHORS shows that the female lead can live without them and choose a proper and decent Guy. No need a sad backstory to forget their horrible actions

Agree what pissed me off the most about a van and princess is that he’s back to a story was so much more shitty than this one like this one was actually very intricate very well done and holy crap it was horrifying it doesn’t excuse anything he did though and he’s clearly learning his lessons if you see what’s been going on in his eyes are actually opening to the truth and I know he’s going to be the ML which that’s the reason why I kind of just skim through this because I just like the art a little bit but like yeah that’s why I’ve been reading some stories where there’s an actual backstory that actually makes sense and the guy is in a complete piece of other shit but it has like a mystery like What the fuck is happening like Lady and the beast that like is boggling my mind like the main guy that she loved before why exactly did he wanna die like why did he command here to kill him I was so confused this is an a spoiler because everybody knows it’s like at the start like why did it have to do with what happened now in this time one if you don’t read it you should it’s really good

And i agree with you, for a reason I still don't know the author are fixated To their male leads. It is like giving an excuse for their bahevior, and they expect some readers to forget what happened before their reincarnation. Like just because lister suffered they must kill innocent people, authors just gabe them excuse, instead of showing women empowerment and the fact we can defeat the abusers they gave them an excuse. It is like with the yaoi rape: they give an excuse for the seme raping the like as a love, and the worst part it is when the readers say: sooo cute ot if we forget the rape it is a cute story... Like the hell we are going To forget a Rape, some yaoi authors romanticized the rape because they think men can't be this affected by a Rape Until now we still don't know why the King who was the lover of the female lead in the lady and the beast betrayed Her, maybe his virility was hurt. Honeslty i think some authors don't care about logically about the plot, because they think just because many readers are into isekai story and all, they take it without considiring the (sometimes) nonsence. For exemple in the lady and the beast, the webtoon is good but a little illogic: the female lead defeated people with Her art martials learned by Her tribut. So i Guess Her tribut are extremely strong, but they lost. Like where is the logic

But To be honest if i was in her place i can't forgive him easily just because he had a sad backstory, i would understand him but i am not also a saint because to forgive him like that cause i can't forget what happened this easily. What i hate are the comment about the rape in the yaoi mangas, like every times someone said the obvious things: sooo cute, or if there aren't Rape it Will ne a cute story, or when a story contain Rape but they characters end up together( It is hella toxic but when someone said just if someone complain in the comments section which their right since it is a comments section, but some sensitive readers won't like it cause they feel we attacked the authors and we should expect that since it is the usual yaoi rape, like LOL, we expect some shits but every time the authors blow my mind sooo much it is messed up). to enjoy this manhwa you have to look at it as an action/adventure story or you'll get really frustrated pretty fast. there may be romance (it's obvious the ml feels deeply for fl as a man), but it's not the main focus

She thinks that, since it says in the novel that the mc's are like 'meant for each other' sips* that's why she thinks she can't change it because it's merely 'The Fate' and that's not within her grasps. Also the main focus of the novel is the love encounter of the supposedly mc's and since she really think that this was a novel she had read in the past life, it addeds to her beliefs that the purpose and ending of the story will be that the ML will be with the Original FL and will have a happily ever after..

maybe it's because it's harder to feel confident abt catching somebody's heart rather than prevent a death? i just thought abt it and realized that if i were the fl, would 100% never feel like i had the shit to be actual fl.
