Not sure what is happening as the translation is confusing, but I think they meant that the OG FL is the reason why everyone goes insane, because the are fixated on her. She probably actively does something to stir them up, but that's not exactly shown. She's probably fixated on the writer FL, hence why she followed her to death as well.
Sociopath just enjoys whatever is going on, probably because he feels that the writer FL thinks similar to him (because everyone seems to be a fragment of wroter FL past/psyche).
