The logic sometimes really makes me laugh. For example at the end, in the specials, when Siyeon gets sick (or if anyone in any romance ever gets sick) they have some stupid thought process for why they don't tell they're significant other. Wdym he was embarrassed about getting a cold? literally everyone gets a cold. Like cmon guys. You've been dating a year. If you get a goddamn cold, why not call them and tell them (especially on christmas)? Every one I've dated, if they were sick, would call me to come over and help em and vice versa. Isn't it just as cute to ask to be taken care of? Anyways, its just always been a plot device I have found silly. But I suppose itd miss it if it wasnt there! lol.

Maybe I am reading too much into things, but the chapter when the mom and Yeonwu were fucking and the mom stares at the photo of herself and her daughter? Gross. The mother is implied to know her daughter extremely well (being that they "like all the same things") And she insists on forcing her daughter and Yeonwu to spend time together; when she comes home she always asks specifically about what Yeonwu and Rosa did TOGETHER. The only ever talk about Rosa. They don't have any other topic to talk about? I have an inkling dear Mother anticipates her daughter's interest in Yeonwu (maybe even knowing their implied history together). The mother's obsession is with her own daughter, and no real feelings for Yeonwu at all?? But I am also NOT close with my mother, so maybe this weird closeness (frequency sharing a bed?) between them is . . . uhm, normal?

The sharing of the bed is normal, but theres definitely something off with the mother, if she loved her daughter she wouldn't date a guy her age when she is so obviously disgusted by it.
The closeness is normal but usually there's a time when kids coming of age want more distance from their parents naturally. But maybe bcs mom and Rosa were healthy with boundaries before she doesn't need it.
Mom is definitely crossing boundaries NOW tho fucking her boytoy where Rosa can hear it and pushing her into a forced new family dynamic etc.
If I was Rosa I'd move out and cut the contact to a certain degree. She's really not angry enough at her mom who ultimately is at fault here.

I do understand that certain people are not comfortable with certain plot devices. And you’re absolutely right about the lead (I hope you mean the top). Initially I persisted because I wanted to see the bot happy, but somehow I ended up really liking it towards the end. I’ve re-read this too many times to count cause I really like the bot. I also thought maybe I just got too used to BL’s toxic side since a lot of good ones always has some SA and non-con to the point that it seems part of motion to me, but I can’t say the same for others .-.
