It really shouldn’t've taken me this long to get through this manga. It felt a bit too slow and I was kind of getting bored with it, probably because I didn't really care about the main two, so I ended up putting it down for a while.
It's not bad, I just wasn't interested in anything. I like a slower slice of life story where there's no or grounded conflict and it's just showcasing people living day-to-day. But when that's the case, I need to care about the characters and I just wasn't feeling it with these two.

I really do wish all 12 chapters were just this story. It’s a very slow and soft story with this depressing atmosphere hanging overhead. Like, there's no color but it felt very “quiet 4pm grey rain clouds but it never actually rains" with that touch of blue and green that’s on the cover and small pops of color from the flower… I love it and wanted more.
But because the story felt slow in its dialogue and what were seeing the pacing of how these 6 chapters play out felt too fast. I don’t know if that made scene, but all of these chapters were short and some of them I thought could've just been 1 combined chapter to the point where the story was moving too fast for how slow the content felt. Because we only had 6 chapters and all of them were less than 22 pages, pared with the small surface leveling feeling dialogue left me wanting more of this story. I wanted more of Marcel and Gisel together. More of their in-between moments like Gisel teaching Marcel to read, more of Marcel’s sister and her husband, more dialogue and emotion from everyone that I know 6 chapters and a span of 40 pages in the structure those chapters were presented would not have been able to give us.

As... vague as that was, I didn't like it. That “boy" definitely looked 18-19 and the grown-ass man looked 25. Don't know if he was real or not but not only was that boring, I didn't like them.

I think this was supposed to be bittersweet but I didn't feel anything… The condition were interesting and how that effected his boyfriend along with his thought were interesting. But as a oneshot, I felt I needed more to actually care.
Ch 10-11: 3.75
I know I said that I wanted story 1 to has been the whole book and I do still feel that way in a sense, but if there’s one story I would give exception to it would be this one. I’m sad that it only had 2 chapters because I felt like if this had one more chapter I would’ve been more satisficed with how the last chapter went. Not that it was bad, they were just as cute as the main story couple, but that’s why I wanted an in-between chapter for them. Give me more of their character to eat.
I'm here for this. I'm here for them. This has the same quiet feel the first story has, it felt nice.

Echoing luna697's comment on Goodreads 100%! Nonomura was the most insufferable character to read from. He acted like more of a child than his son does. I get that he's overwhelmed, I get that he needs therapy, but the way he would yell and even frighten Sora while also being short-tempered about everything and not talking things out made me wanna scream. That last chapter pissed me off so much. I liked Kataoka after chapter 1 but even he got annoying to read because he was enabling Nonomura's attitude.
Why did the teacher say that about Sora?
