I don’t comment on stuff often (if at all), but I saw a lot of comments about Taehan’s silence making people anxious about what’s to come / calm before the storm.
I took some time to re-read the story so far because I also was like “wtf is going on?? Why is he being like this right now??”
Looking at his actions (and no, I haven’t seen raws - if there are any past Season 2 I’m unaware), I *think* his silence is more of a “oh crap, I can’t believe I did that to him when I was out of my mind during my rut. I already felt so guilty about how I hurt him during that time, and now I found out I did that to him without his consent and I feel like I don’t deserve this amazing person in front of me because of it.” So I think he’s having a guilty conscience about what occurred, and he’s also still just frazzled about the situation that just unfolded.
I think we’ve seen a lot of issues from the start of the relationship until now which happened mostly due to problems with Doyun (missed inhibitor doses, meds not working effectively, not being able to control his pheromones, general naivety - no hate, this was all new to him!!) but I think now going forward the author might be aiming for relationship trials and tribulations resulting from Taehan’s insecurities and worries. Part of this I believe to be stemming from a lack of communication (which we all know is the norm for this genre), especially because there hasn’t been a whole lot of verbalizing of feelings from Doyun toward Taehan. It really hit me on the re-read that they haven’t said how they feel much (if at all) outside of being in heat/in a rut. Granted, actions speak louder than words, but verbal confirmation is pretty much key in any relationship - especially one with marriage on the table.
I also think the suggestion of marriage followed by silence in this circumstance, with an already anxious Taehan, could be misconstrued as “he thinks this is the next step since we almost had an accident, it’s not because of feelings or anything” - but this is just my best guess at what’s going through characters’ heads at this point.
Take what you will from this ~ I don’t want to argue with anyone in the comments, and I don’t claim to know this as definitely what’s going on. Just an interpretation from a fan, same as you all. :)

I actually like this one a lot because the medicine is pretty sound (I’m an advanced practice provider) and it’s pretty funny on top of it. Can’t wait for future updates
