I don't understand why the author couldn't just make their back story indepth, and wholesome. Or, even if they still made the ML love the MC, there's no need to make it so sexual. Seriously. If I'm remembering right the next chapters are pretty much sex scenes. It could have been them learning about the world, growing emotionally, the ML discovering some humans can be good like the MC, things like that. And with the context of the back story so far, it feels like the ML has not grown emotionally at all during this timeline to the present one. Why is he so static??
